Meet Tania Sidokpohou: The Curious Mind Powering Global Growth at MeetingPackage

Ari Kuparipuro

If you ask Tania Sidokpohou what’s shaped her career, she’ll probably say curiosity. That, and a love for whatever’s next.
Her path to MeetingPackage is anything but traditional, and that’s exactly why it fits. Originally from France, raised in Brazil, and educated in the heart of Silicon Valley, Tania has built a career at the intersection of media, technology, and hospitality. She’s the kind of person who doesn’t just follow trends—she lands in new markets before the trend reports even catch up.
Now heading global partnerships at MeetingPackage, Tania is using that same mindset to rethink how meetings and events are booked, managed, and optimized across the hospitality industry.
Digital beginnings (before digital was cool)
Long before eProposals and seamless integrations were part of the conversation, Tania was helping e-commerce companies in Latin America adopt programmatic advertising and digital media. She later shifted gears—slightly—and took her talents to Accor, where she led digital marketing and e-distribution for Africa and the Indian Ocean. Not only was she creating large-scale campaigns, but she was also teaching hotels how to use them.
“There was a lot of explaining and convincing,” she laughs. “But once the numbers rolled in, people got excited. That was the spark.”

Hospitality meets tech meets strategy
Fast forward to her time at Cloudbeds, where she spent six years part of the team building out strategic partnerships across Europe, Latin America, and North America. Her focus? Making sure partner tech played nicely together, and that both sides actually saw value. As someone who’s fluent in both business strategy and the details of an API handshake, she found her sweet spot in making tech partnerships click.
So, why MeetingPackage?
Tania first discovered MeetingPackage while still at Cloudbeds. The idea of digitizing the M&E (Meetings & Events) space—something that had largely stayed manual and fragmented—was immediately interesting.
“There’s still so much potential in MICE,” she says. “We’re not just optimizing processes. We’re creating a new way of working that’s easier, faster, and actually makes sense for how people want to book today.”
Looking ahead
Tania’s vision for the future is one where every part of the business travel journey is connected. From the time someone leaves their house to the moment they check into a meeting room, everything just works—behind the scenes. And yes, she’s excited about AI, but even more so about how personalization will extend into group bookings and corporate loyalty programs.
Outside the screen
When she’s not negotiating a partnership or talking tech strategy, you’ll probably find her doing something unexpected. A self-described “documentary freak,” Tania is currently into ancient civilizations (ask her about Nepal). She’s also discovered the magic of Finnish cold plunges—despite absolutely hating the cold.
Top travel destinations? Reunion Island, Brazil, Costa Rica... and now she’s setting her sights on exploring more of the Nordics.
So whether she’s bridging cultures, departments, or systems, one thing’s clear: Tania’s always on the move—usually a few steps ahead.
